March Madness is a single elimination NCAA men's basketball tournament. The winner of the tournament is the national champion and is one of the most exciting sporting events of the year!

How does a bracket work?

A bracket lists all the matchups in the tournament and tracks the winners as they move on through the tournament. A Bracket Pool is contest where people fill out who they think will win each match and predict the winner of the tournament. For every match you predict correctly you get a point! And the person with the highest point total wins the pool.

What is "Selection Sunday"?

Selection Sunday is on March 14th and is when the NCAA Selection Committee chooses the teams that will be competing in the tournament. You can't fill out your bracket until these selections are made.

When is March Madness?

March Madness starts officially on Selection Sunday, but teams won't start playing until Thursday March 18th (these are play-in games). The games that will affect your bracket start on Friday March 19th at 12pm.
